West Indies will host an ODI tri-series against India and Sri Lanka in Jamaica and Trinidad from June 28 to July 11, 2013. The tri-series comprises seven matches, with each team playing the other twice before the finals.

India have named an unchanged squad from the one playing in the Champions Trophy for the ODI tri-series in the West Indies. The Indian squad includes five seam bowlers - Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Irfan Pathan and Vinay Kumar, and three spinners - Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin and Amit Mishra. Captain MS Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Dinesh Karthik and M Vijay constitute the batting.

Gayle steers West Indies to victory over Sri Lanka

Former captain Chris Gayle hit his first one-day hundred against Sri Lanka - his 21st career ODI century - as he led West Indies to a crushing six-wicket victory with more than 12 overs to spare in the opening match of the three-nation international series. Replying to the visitors modest total of 208 all out off 48.3 overs, Gayle hit his 109 off 100 deliveries with seven sixes and nine fours at the Sabina Park on Friday night. Earlier, spinner Narine (4-40) and paceman Rampaul (3-38) combined to rip out the Sri Lanka middle order after they had looked on course for a healthy total, reaching 104/2 in the 22nd over after being put in to bat. Sri Lanka hand India embarrassing 161-run defeat

Mahela Jayawardene and Upul Tharanga (174 off 159 balls) scored a century each to power Sri Lanka to 348 runs after being sent into bat at Sabina Park on Tuesday. The openers put on 213 runs for the first wicket, with veteran Jayawardene making 107 off 112 balls. It was only the fourth time that both openers had scored centuries against India after Geoff Marsh and David Boon (1986), Gary Kirsten and Herschelle Gibbs (2000) and Mohammad Hafeez and Nasir Jamshed (2012).In reply, India faltered badly in pursuit to be bowled out for 187 off 44.5 overs, with Ravindra Jadeja top-scoring with 49 not out. Sri Lanka climbed to second in the standings after their massive win. They also gained a bonus point.Reported earlier: Virat Kohli became India's 22nd ODI captain as he leads the team against Sri Lanka in Celkon Mobile Cup tri-series. India thrashes West Indies by 102 runs

After defeats to the hosts and Sri Lanka, Champions Trophy winners India beat West Indies by 102 runs in Port of Spain to get their first victory of the Tri-Nation Series. Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan put on 123 in 23.1 overs for the first wicket and then stand-in skipper Virat Kohli struck 102 off 83 balls at the Queen's Park Oval after West Indies captain Dwayne Bravo won the toss and elected to put India in to bat on a grassy looking wicket. India ended up with 311 for seven in their alloted 50 overs.

Chasing a target of 312, West Indies lost opener Chris Gayle and Darren Bravo, both to seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar. A 90-minute rain delay saw the target reduced to 274 from 39 overs with the bonus point cut-off for India 219. The hosts were bowled out for 171 off 34 overs to lose by 102 runs on the Duckworth/Lewis method, with seamers Bhuvneshwar Kumar (3-29), Umesh Yadav (3-32) and Ishant Sharma (2-30) doing much of the damage.Left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja, who took two wickets in two balls to finish off the match, was involved in an unpleasant on-field exchange with Suresh Raina who dropped two difficult catches off Jadeja's bowling in the 26th and 32nd over of the Windies innings. An ugly situation ensued when the two star players of Team India exchanged heated arguments on two different occasions. A career best spell of 4-8 from Bhuvneshwar Kumar helped India beat Sri Lanka by 81 runs under the Duckworth/Lewis method to set up a re-match in the final of the Tri-Nations competition in Port of Spain after rain shortened the Sri Lanka innings to 26 overs, with a target of 178. Earlier, Mathews won the toss and sent India into bat. India made 119 for 3 from 29 overs with Rohit Sharma's unbeaten 48 and Virat Kohli's valuable knock of 31.

Kumar removed four of the top five Sri Lankan batsmen for just 31 runs, a deadly spell which effectively ended a reachable goal.
